The Plateau FTP Server is a standard FTP server, at present it is configured for both Anonymous FTP access (for retrieving files) as well as secure access to allow users to upload data to the server for others to access.

All users have FTP access (with the same username and password as used for e-mail).  Once logged in it defaults to a unique home directory for each user.  If you also have web files on this server, then you can change up two levels and into the "web" directory, and then the appropriate folder for your web pages.  You can also change to the anonymous directory to place files there for anonymous access.
